What is Jonathan's Cancer Blog?

Hi. I'm Jonathan's Cancer. Let me explain what the heck is going on here. You see, Jonathan was diagnosed with me, esophageal cancer, about two years ago. His wife was also about eight months pregnant with their son at the time. You probably find this tragic or whatever. For me, it's just what I do. I'm cancer.

Anyway, Jonathan was supposed to start this blog something like a year ago, but so far, nothing. I mean, he has been cut up, poked by needles, poisoned, zapped with radiation, and been subjected to more endoscopies, procedures, and complications than ever, but that's no excuse. This has to be written down. My legacy can't go undocumented. We may have different motivations, but I need him. Cancer doesn't type. But, Jonathan keeps whining about being too sick or too tired or he doesn't feel like it. Long story short, fully knowing Jonathan's desire to write a blog as well, I volunteered to step up and help, be his writing partner so to speak. All I asked in return was that he name the blog after me. So far, things are working out, but I still have doubts. We'll see.
